It is late into the night, while I am enjoying the US Open Women Singles Semifinal between Mary Pierce and Dementieva, I guess I will share with you how I have changed the header picture.

The original picture is located at wp-content\themes\connections\img\top.jpg

Just open up this picture in Adobe Photoshop. I am using Photoshop CS by the way. See below screenshot:

Then, drag some guides to the picture, such as in the screenshot below. Later, these guides will help us to align our new picture properly.

Now, open up your favorite picture that you wish to use, and put it as a new layer on the picture. Make use of the guides just now, select the unwanted area of the new picture and press the “delete” key to delete them.

There you go… Save your new picture replacing the original top.jpg.

Note that the photo I am using is taken by Mr ShawMeng. That’s a live picture of Taiping, Perak. Not too sure which road is that in Taiping though, but it surely looks very nice with the century-old-trees and all the activity underneath and beside them.
