Did you watch the Miss Astro Chinese International Pageant 2005 (Semi-Final) which was telecasted LIVE on Astro’s channel 30? Aren’t the 20 semi-finalists gorgeous?
Out of the 20 semi-finalists, 12 finalists have emerged after a Q&A session testing their intelligence and eloquence. Before that they paraded in different eye-catching costumes showcasing their graceful carriages.
One of them really catch my attention with her clever answer to the hosts’ question. The hosts asked “Malaysians do not like to read, how do you improve Malaysians’ reading habits?”. She steadily answered “I would put delicate scent in the books so that when people flip through the books, they will feel very comfortable and relaxed and keep on reading…” - What a brilliant answer. The hosts tried her, “What if I am sensitive to the fragrance?”… She took her time and answered “I would try different delicate scent, such as from flowers, from tea leaves, and etc”… Haha…
