Now we all know that Yahoo! Small Business is offering $2.99 a domain name. Just how cheap is this? Is this cheaper than a piece of roti canai?
Check the price table below, which lists the price for a one year .com domain name (the most common domain name extension) registration.
| GoDaddy.com | USD8.95 |
| Networksolutions.com | USD34.99 |
| Enom.com | USD29.95 |
| Tucows (DomainDirect.net) | USD14.99 |
| Melbourneit.com.au | USD35.00 |
| Register.com | USD35.00 |
I think USD35.00 is the most expensive ones. Can’t get any more expensive?
These are the world largest ICANN-accredited domain name registrars for the .COM, .NET, .ORG, .INFO, .BIZ, and .US domain extensions. A complete list of the world’s largest domain registrars is available on the webhosting.info and Registrar Stats.
The big brother GoDaddy has 8.2 million domain names under his belt. Wow…
