Yahoo is offering $2.99 domain name
Oct 12th, 2005 by Neo
Register a domain name (yourdomain.com) is the first step to creating an online presence for yourself or your business. Once you have your domain name, it can be the foundation for your own personalised email addresses or the location for your web site or online store. This offer includes some of the most popular domain name extensions (.com, .net, .org, .biz, .info, .us).

This is indeed a very good chance and appeals to a lot of new Internet wannabe. I have seen some bloggers, mostly are new bloggers, but a lot are veterans still using sub-domains of Blogger.com or Blogdrive.com. One of the reasons they do not go for their own domain name is simply because it is expensive, usually at around RM50 per year.

The benefits of having your own domain name is countless: It is easier to remember, easier to type in the URL box, you reserve it before someone else grabs it, you can show off to your friends :), _____ (you fill in the blanks yourself).
This offer from Yahoo! Small Business expires on 10/31/2005 at 11:59PM. So, what are you waiting for? Grab it before it is too late.
