Pesta Tanglung UKM

Last weekend, my friends and I attended the annual Pesta Tanglung (Mid Autumn fiesta) in UKM, Bangi. This has been the 26th Pesta Tanglung held over the years.
For the uninitiated, Pesta Tanglung is one of the official events held within UKM which is officially recognised by the University. Since it is held in the first semester, it gives the freshies the best chance to participate and be a part of a big family - “The Tanglung Family”. This family provides the opportunity to grow, to lead and to contribute to the success of the Chinese community. Every year, about 700 new members joined.
The highlight of the Pesta Tanglung was the stage performance. Some photos for you to enjoy below:
A lot of UKM students. Some are outsiders of course. I think only 80% full.
The stage with a big projection on the top left. This was where they projected the live performance and subtitles.
I couldn’t really concentrate on the stage - all because of these two pretty chics in front of me. No that I was attracted to their looks, but they were very noisy in front - distracting my concentration

After the stage performance. Everybody were very happy and joyful that it was such a successful performance. This marked yet another successful year for the Tanglung Family.
Apologies for not taking any photos of the actual performance. This is because no photo taking were allowed during that.
