I was down with running nose and cough since last week. Consulted a doctor and the medication had not really did their wonders; but I am much better now despite the slight running nose and occassionally a blocked nose. They are just stubborn to leave me alone.

The biggest problem is that my little girl has also been infected. I guess there is now just too many germs flying around in my house and the smaller one has been the latest victim. Went to our pediatric a couple of days ago, but the medication probably is not strong enough for the disease. My girl had been crying for almost half of last night because of difficulty in sleeping, maybe the sore throat and the phlegm had made her unconfortable also. It was a long and tiring night.

Just this afternoon went to the pediatric again. This time the doctor prescribed us some other medicine. There is this syrup for the flu, another one for the phlegm, yet another one for the cough, and yet another bottle for the lung. I think the one for the lung is to clear her small blocked respiratory tract caused by the excessive mucus, and thus make her more confortable. Just you thought there is no more, there is another small little bottle for the nose - to drop one drop of the medication into her tiny nose three times a day.

I felt sympathy for my little helpless girl to have to suffer and take all these. Let’s hope for a better tomorrow
