Great Season Restaurant
Nov 28th, 2005 by Neo
Last weekend, I unwillingly settled the balance to Hong Thai Tours & Travel, for my trip to Hong Kong and Sengzhen, China. “Unwillingly” because the sum was not small (at least for a poor man like me), it was slightly more than RM2.5k
However, I have to settle that because I would like to go to Hong Kong Disneyland with my girls
This travel agency is located on the lower ground floor of the Pudu Plaza Shopping Centre, Jalan Landak, Kuala Lumpur. This lower ground floor is actually exposed to the front main road of the shopping center, not hidden underground like most lower ground floors in other shopping centers.

Great Season Restaurant. Located diagonally opposite of Pudu Plaza Shopping Centre.
Anyway, having the sum settled, it was already 1pm. Stomach drumming. Our sharp eyes noticed a striking billboard “Great Season Restaurant”. Well, because the color is in dark red, it looks like a billboard, really an attention grabber
In we went to the restaurant.
The place is not very big. But comfortable and the aircon was strong. We ordered a set for 2/3 persons with 3 main dishes, 1 soup, and chinese tea. Check out some pictures below:

Black pepper chicken; Thai style toufu, with dumpling. The toufu was very nice and juicy. The dumpling was crispy. The sauce topping was sweet and sour-ish. Anyway, the chicken dish had a lot of chilli but lack of chicken meat, a bit let down

Hong Kong choy sum with oyster sauce; our table. The Hong Kong choy sum was very nice too. Is your mouth watering?
All the above for RM18 nett. I personally feel the food was quite OK and the price is reasonable. By the way, I wonder why they don’t name it Four Season Restaurant? - guess maybe this is Malaysia, where we only have SUMMER all year long!

[…] The package we took up, 5Days Hong Kong/Shenzhen/HKG Disneyland Super Value Tour, consists of a 5 days and 4 nights itinerary. The “value tour” part might be mis-leading since I find the price to be much more expensive compared to the year before when my friends made the trip. Probably this time they squeezed in the Disneyland as one of the place in the itinerary, so the price can go up so high. We forked out RM3542 for 2 persons […]
you are going with your girl (girl friend/wife) or with your girls (daugthers)?
heather: They dishes were quite nice, and affordable
Furkids: Thanks.
Zara’s mama: I am going with my wife
My daughter is still too young to travel by flight I suppose.
