Hong Kong and Shenzhen Tour
Dec 8th, 2005 by Neo
Yeah, my girl and I will be travelling to Hong Kong and Shenzhen tomorrow early morning. We have been looking forward to this year end tour since a couple of weeks back since we made the booking.
Now, some pictures!

Left: look at our luggage. The big one is quite heavy, luckily it comes with rollers. Do we look like moving houses?
Right: the scenic Pearl of the Orient. Picture from tourism.gov.hk.
This time we went with a tour agency called Hong Thai Tours & Travel Sdn Bhd which is located at the lower ground floor of the Pudu Plaza Shopping Center, KL. At first, we thought of taking free and easy (cheaper mah), but since we are lazy to read up guides and afraid of MIA, so the easiest is to find someone to guide us.
The package we took up, 5Days Hong Kong/Shenzhen/HKG Disneyland Super Value Tour, consists of a 5 days and 4 nights itinerary. The “value tour” part might be mis-leading since I find the price to be much more expensive compared to the year before when my friends made the trip. Probably this time they squeezed in the Disneyland as one of the place in the itinerary, so the price can go up so high. We forked out RM3542 for 2 persons
Let’s have a quick run through of the itinerary:
Day 1 - Depart for Hong Kong
We will be leaving KL on a very early flight in the morning. Since we are expected to reach the Pearl of the Orient just after noon, we might just wander around the city for the day
Day 2 - Sightseeing tour to the Victoria Peak, the Repulse Bay and the Aberdeen Fishing Village. Hmm… anything interesting here?
Day 3 - Shenzhen
Splendid China - people say this is the world’s largest miniature of scenic places in China. After Spledidn China, we will be guided to the China Folks Village.
Day 4 - The Disneyland
Whole day at Hong Kong Disneyland… Fantasy becomes reality?
Day 5 - So soon day 5 already?
In the morning, perhaps some time in the city. Afternoon will be leaving for home. Malaysia, miss me?
Since I will be away for close to a week, there might not be any update here, unless I can find a convenient place to get online. Anyway, for the time being if you missed me
do play this nice Santa game to keep you busy. The game is simple and yet addicting. Do remember to drop by here next week for pictures I took, I promise they will be brilliant ones.
If you are looking for further information on Hong Kong’s tourist attractions, delicacies, amazing skyline, bustling harbour and peaceful countryside; then I would recommend Discover Hong Kong.
