Singapore Bugis Junction Water Fountain

I was browsing through my hard drive and noticed a very interesting video that I captured not too long ago when I visited Singapore. This video features the fascinating water fountain in Bugis Junction, Singapore.
Located just outside the Seiyu Department Store at Bugis Junction, this outdoor fountain literally has water sprouting from the ground. There is no raised structure, nor pool for the water, so when it is not in operation, you could just walk across it. That is probably why kids simply cannot resist going near it. Many even get thoroughly soaked with the water spewing from the jets on the ground.

Too bad there is not a pool for the fountain, otherwise I might toss a coin into it wishing my wish will come true

We have one too over in Tung Chung near the airport and the kids love to get soaked in it too.
Seeing children (and people in general) happy always brings a smile to my face - unless they incessantly laugh like a donkey.
