Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) recently introduced Fish Sandwich on their menu. I gave that a try last night as part of my dinner (the other part were two pieces of spicy chicken). A quick check on http://www.kfc.com.my returns no updated info on this latest addition, what is their webmaster doing?

Just like Mc Donald’s Fillet-o-fish burger, the KFC Fish Sandwich is served on a split bun with the fish fillet sandwiched in between. There is no shredded lettuce, tomato, or anything like that. The cheesy mayonnaise sauce on the fish fillet is quite nice and savory. I feel that it is thicker, stickier and tastier than that on the Mc Donald’s. This is probably the best part of the sandwich I afraid

The fish combo set costs RM6.85 (excluding government tax). It comes with the sandwich, a regular size Potato Wedges, and a regular size soft drink. Quite reasonably priced I guess. I think the sandwich is slightly bigger than the usual Mc Chicken burger, or at least it is definitely longer.

This sandwich burger was not bad, as I ate the whole thing. However, I admit that I am a glutton, and unless it is smelly, I would eat until it is clean. Overall, I would say this Fish Sandwich is slightly better than Mc Donald’s Fillet-o-fish, if you like Mc D’s Fish, you should give this KFC Fish a try!
