Funfair in Puchong

If you are staying in the Puchong proximity, then for the past one month or so, you should have noticed a strong strobe of light dancing in the skyline. It is like a big hand waving “come come”. Out of curiosity, the adventure in me decided to check that out a few days ago.
Haha, it came right from a funfair and amusement park setup on the Puchong main road, off the LDP highway. I didn’t really expect to see a lot of nice fun rides in the funfair, and true to my expectation, most of the setups were old which I enjoyed playing many years ago.

The Lucky Star ride. Didn’t look very lucky to me tough, the thing only spin you around and make you dizzy I guess

The Flying Elephant Ride. I enjoyed taking this ride in my younger days. I can feel the enjoyment and the fun of those kids on the elephants as they laughed happily as though they were the stars of the night.

The Ferris Wheel. This was the highest setup in the funfair. Not sure if they did any safety test, electrical test, and insurance cover to comply with all the standards set by the Health & Whatever regulations (if any exist).

Left: Want to join the KTM ride? Right: The usual Ghost House. If you were under 10 years old, perhaps you will get scared the hell out of you.

Left: The fishing duck game. On the bottom of the duck there was a number to indicate what prize you have won. Right: Some chicks were trying out the ducks. You are not able to see the numbers on the bottom of the ducks, so basically you are trying your luck here, hoping that the number will win you some big prizes such as the big Winnie the Pooh sitting in the center that is beginning to gain dust.

Left: Table tennis? Right: You are given some plastic hoops to throw onto some pins that are numbered. The number indicates your prize. Sounds fun eh?

Left: The carousels. Right: Another flavor of the ping pong game.

Left: They have Wheel of Fortune too. Right: If you are good at playing darts, you might want to try this game. I quite like the big Hello Kitty there.

Left: The Bingo Game. Right: The bingo board, where there are numbers on it. If you strike out a row straight or diagonally, you win prizes.
The entrance to the funfair is free. Most of the rides require 2 tokens. 1 token cost you RM1. Not too expensive if you have 1 kid only but it become a different story when you have 5 kids ![]()

[...] This was the first ever funfair in Puchong, which I had some fun there. Then, at the end of the year, some smart dudes decided it was time to make some more money and came up with Asia Fun Park Funfair. [...]
