Red and White Roses
Feb 12th, 2006 by Neo
Some lovely flowers I captured during my visit to a friend’s house. She has a small garden in front of the house.

Red Roses. Just nice for the Valentine’s Day. No need to buy

White Roses are pretty too.

Peach Flower. The Peach tree looks like still young and not sure when they will bear some fruits for us. Haha. Notice the fire crackers decoration at the background?

Decorations hanging on the flowers made from red packets. How creative are they!

Chrysanthemum. People produce drinks from this flower, right?

Red å®å·¾èб. What do you call this flower in English?

Purple å®å·¾èб.

Any idea what flower is this?

What about this flower? It looks a bit sophisticated and high-tech.

This one I know. Hibiscus. Malaysia’s national flower.

This is a nice one too. But ‘pai se’, what do you call this?

Water Lily. Gold fish swimming and posing for my digital camera.
The last picture is my favorite among all those above. I adjusted my camera and snapped from all angles, took half-a-dozen of the same subjects, then in the end, selected to post this one. Nice or not?

keeykeey, no need to buy mah, got so many beautiful flowers already.
lucia, it is a small garden, but can fit so many flowers… amazing. I have no idea what are the flowers’ names too.
The flowers are actually planted and maintained by the brother. The brother and the flowers are in Perak, while I am in KL now… Lazy to call up the brother and ask the names of the flowers.
I am sure your friend would be realy upset if you tried to cut the flowers. I know because my dad is one crazy gardener who loves his plants.
Nice garden! That red(no.6), purple(no.7) and white(no.8) ‘flowers’ is called bougainvillea or in Malay known as bunga kertas.
