Now, you have seen one of my cute mousepad in my previous post. Since the mousepad is so interesting, a couple of my readers requested to see my mouse. OK, no problem. Now, check this Sony USB Mouse that I am using with my notebook.

At first glance, you may think that this mouse is poorly designed, at least externally. I have the same feeling too when I first saw it last time. But the more I use it, the more I like it. Trust me, this mouse is simply excellent in its job as a mouse - to navigate the computer’s mouse pointer. Since it is optical, it is very responsive and light weighted, and connects to my notebook via an USB interface.

The left and right click button, and the scroll wheels are quite soft and nicely built too. Located nicely for my fingers.

One very nice feature of this Sony Mouse is its added feature to read/write memory sticks. This is extermely useful for myself since my notebook does not come equiped with memory stick reader/writer and my digicam is using memory sticks! Sony DSC P10 digital camera. As you can see in the picture above, you can lift the top cover and slide in a memory stick. This is indeed a very convenient feature of this mouse and is designed to help you transfer data between the Memory Stick media and your USB port equipped desktop/notebook. The reader/writer supports MagicGate Memory Stick media, Memory Stick Pro, and Memory Stick Duo also I guess.

I strongly recommend this gadget to you if your camera uses memory sticks and you do not have a card reader, or you simply do not like to bring your card reader with your notebook.
