Disgusting Dead Mouse

This morning I was shocked to see this dead mouse lying at the compound in front of my house. It looked so disgusting and sick. How the hell would a dead mouse show up in front of my house? Could this be the good work of a neighhour’s cat?
Or is this a sign that my neighbour doesn’t like me so much? Or could this be the result of blogging about a turned over computer mouse?
After the photo was taken (as evidence), I quickly fetched a plastic bag and threw the mouse away into the rubbish bin. Don’t worry, my hands are clean now, disinfected, washed two times with plenty of Dettol

Where I live, we have recently gotten mice infestation.
I had captured a mouse and had these ideas as to keep it as a pet, sad I know. But I killed it ;_; and I feel terrible for doing so. Just felt like I had to put it somewhere for someone, anyone, else to read it.
