This was my afternoon tea today. No, not Guinness Stout, but in a Guinness Stout glass
This was the Seremban Egg Rice I had this afternoon. Doesn’t look very good, right? But I assure you, it tastes brilliant!

Looks like Pataya Rice, a type of Malay fried rice where the fried egg is wrapped around the rice.

Go give it a try. You can order this from most “tai chau” stores or restorants. But each cook’s cooking method might be different.

The egg is fried with onion, small prawn, etc. Just like those Seremban fried egg. Then this is put (not wrapped) on top of plain rice.
