F1 Restaurant at IOI Mall
Jun 15th, 2006 by Neo
I went to F1 Restaurant at IOI Mall, Puchong for dinner last week. For those who are familiar with Puchong, you should know that F1 Restaurant was located in front of IOI Mall, just beside the LDP highway… but now, they have moved inside of the mall to make way for some other building at their old location. Not too sure if that’s IOI Mall phase two.
Anyway, let’s look at the decoration of the restaurant. At first, we were expecting a big Formula1 car… but all we got were some tiny cars on the wall.

The F1 cars and the Ferrari flag hanging on the wall. The restaurant owner must be a Ferrari fan!
There are pictures of Michael Schumacher and Ferrari cars on the other side of the wall. When you see this and if you are supporting Kimi Raikkonen or Fernando Alonso, will you still dine here?
Now, here comes the food!

Creamy Brown Chicken, Red Pepper Chicken and Onion Rings. Both the main dishes costs RM9.80 each, while the onion rings costs RM4.50.
The chickens were nice and satisfying. They were tender and went very well with the creamy sauces.

The interior of the restaurant. Nothing too fancy, just simple layout and decorations.
The seats do not look like those for Formula1 cars, and the place is not very aerodynamic too

I’d been there once. I don’t like their drinks. But the food is ok. I like their salmon set meal. Nice and cheap.

Not too bad.
Malaysia Property,
At least they have some pictures of F1 cars, and a big Ferrari flag.
earl-ku,
Where is the one in Serdang located? I have never even seen it in Serdang, so no idea if they are the same.
titoki,
Their drinks are ok too in my opinion.

omg at 1st i saw ‘LOL’ mall. So did u get to eat at ferrari seats there? :p
So little F1 stuffs only…
ive been here..but at that time F1 was beside the ioi mall.which was an open air area..well i like the food becoz its cheap and delicious..especially the lamb chop..nyum..nyum..i should try their new environment..hopely much better
F1 restaurant has existed since a long long time ago.. They were indeed beside IOI Mall once (and another outlet in Serdang, and another somewhere in outskirts, cant remember already)..
The one in Serdang is beside Petronas on the “toll-free” alternative road that you use to get on the KL-Seremban highway, running parellel with it.
They never had a Ferrari car and the decor, as you described, as always been that way.
It’s very reasonable priced, and a decent meal for two will just be around RM25.. You can have your chop and jumbo mugs of different juices.. I’d recommend Longan, if they still have it.. It’s a whole can of longan dumped into the jumbo mugs and was around RM5 if not mistaken..
They have the chops, fries and mash potatos and juices.. all very reasonably priced.
It has been about 5 years since I last step into one; a favourite “upperscale” dining in those days as a student.. Those days, a dinner for two for RM25 is a lot..
Now working already and earned foreign currency at one time, RM25 is somewhat “normal” for even 1 person..
Anyway, have fun visiting the restaurant.. Of which, I will, try to make time to go..
i more like it in old environment place behind ioi mall past year ago…… bcoz no more lighting, and so romantic environment…
[…] certainly hope you have managed to try the F1 Restaurant which I introduced to you quite some time ago. Last time, this restaurant was located just beside […]
anyone who knows how to get to ioi mall from kelana jaya lrt station please tell me. email to yapsz@hotmail.com. desperate
