First - Asia’s Premier Movie Magazine
Jun 21st, 2006 by Neo
I was browsing through some magazines in a bookstore recently and suddenly one magazine with glossy cover struck my attention. How could I miss it as it has Superman on the cover? I browsed through it and realized that it’s an entertainment magazine dedicated solely to movies and exclusively for movie fans, so their tagline goes Asia’s Premier Movie Magazine.

First - Asia’s Premier Movie Magazine featuring Superman Returns.
Let’s see what goodies this magazine comes with. There is a giant pull-out poster on the movie Pirates of the Caribbean - Dead Man’s Chest, and 4 postcards on Superman Returns. So, who wants to receive a nice postcard from me? — No lar, just kidding, these are mind to keep
If you want the postcards and the hugh poster, you go buy the magazine, only RM9.50 only.

The lovely postcards with pictures of Superman!
First dedicated a lot of pages for a section called firstbites, which talk about movie news, gossip, fashion, collectibles, celebrities and other fun stuff.
Of course the magazine includes some neat movie reviews… oh, actually they are DVD reviews. Since DVDs only come out a couple of months after the movies hit the cinema, these reviews are maily on old pictures. Anyway, they are still good to read especially for home theatre enthusiast. Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, Elizabethtown, War of the Worlds, Four Brothers and Mrs Henderson Presents are some of the DVDs reviewed.
Okay, it’s getting late. Let me find a place to hang this hugh poster of Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley.

hey, thats me on the cover!
First is one of the magazines that I regularly read for updates on upcoming movies…very good locally produced reading material!
Hmmm RM9.50 is quite expensive…don’t you think ? (hehe maybe I’m a stingy fellow)
Wuching,
You are a bird?
Laksa,
I believe I will buy next month too… looks like a good reading material.
Che-Cheh,
I think the price is reasonable. Most locally produced magazines cost about this price.
hey, looks good!
