Great Taste Restaurant
Jul 3rd, 2006 by Neo
Sunday afternoon, everyone was so relax and lazy! My girl suggested why not we went out to have our lunch today? Brilliant idea! Off we went to Bandar Puteri, Puchong; and after making a few rounds of surveying around the restaurants area, we decided to try a Chinese cuisine restaurant called Great Taste.

Great Taste.
The restaurant is moderately decoreated. There are classic tables and chairs that go well with the ambience of the place.

The classic tables and chairs.
Now, let’s get started on the food! Very hungry already.

Kong Nam Mee priced at RM7.20.

Nam Keng Seafood Rice priced at RM8.50.
My girl had the Kong Nam Mee, while I had the seafood rice which was placed in a small wok. In my humble opinion, I think the mee dish tasted much better and had more ingredients. The seafood rice was more expensive and didn’t taste that great afterall. It’s just normal rice, topped with some mixed vegetables and some seafood - prawns, squids and two tiny pieces of fish meat.

Vanila Milkshake at RM5.00 and Red Bean Soup at RM2.30.
I like vanila flavors a lot, especially vanila ice creams, but this vanila milkshake is a big let down! The taste was too plain, perhaps they added too much ice in it? The red bean soup was good though.
Overall, this restaurant is OK and only recommended if you want to have home-made cookings, and simple dishes. Don’t order that Vanila Milkshake, or bring your own sweetener
