My favorite part is towards the end when the shinto priest are on the roof of the buiding throwing balls of white mochi down to the crowds of people...and all the people fight to try and catch a ball of goodluck mochi, and getting hurt in the process. Oh and the free sake is a big plus too!! This festival is to thank, worship or pray to the fertility gods. I met my best friend at this festival :D this festival is great fun!
