Since a few weeks back, there are a lot of Citibank pre-opening signages in Bandar Puteri, Puchong. I was kind of shocked to see that first time when I was there for my dinner. This is because Puchong was a very small town not too long ago and many people think that this town is hopeless and you are crazy if you bought a property here.

But things have really changed, Puchong is a booming town now. Even Citibank choose to open a branch here A couple of weeks ago, Citibank started renovating one of the corner shop lots beside the Giant Hypermarket. And earlier this week, they are open! Their renovation and opening of the branch is pretty fast! OCBC hang out their “coming soon” banner weeks before Citibank, but they have started their renovation only last week - may take a couple more weeks to do that I guess.

You might wonder why the place is so bright. Yeah, they are open at night also! To further customers’ convenience, they are offering night and Saturday banking services. The banking hours are as follows:

Monday to Friday: 9:30am to 4:00pm, 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
Saturday: 9:30am to 12:00noon.

Cool, isn’t it? Now, you can do your banking even after working hours. After that, can go to have a drink or bite at one of the many cafes and restaurants nearby

Any idea how many Citibank branches are there in Malaysia now? I heard another branch has opened in Bukit Tengah, Penang.
