Smart Monkeys

If you thought there’s no more stories to my recent Langkawi trip, think again, today I am going to show you some smart monkeys that we stumbled upon while we were hiking to Tasik Dayang Bunting. The hiking took about 10-15 minutes, and along the trail there were not less than 10 monkeys loitering around us eyeing for any food we might have brought.

Smart monkey
A word of caution, do not bring any food unless you want the monkeys to have a big feast. We witnessed monkeys snapping food from unwary visitors. The monkeys can spot or smell your food even you keep them in plastic bags!
Look at the monkeys. They are enjoying their loot of the day!
Anyway, these monkeys are usually friendly and harmless. You can feed them food and they would be very happy. Don’t do anything to intimidate them, once upset they won’t hesitate to jump on you.
Truely, some people say Langkawi is the island of the Monkey, the Eagle, the Bat and the Fish!
