How did you spend the eve of our beloved country’s 49th Merdeka day (49th Independence Day)? Everywhere was crowded and traffic was at a stand still because everyone were out to party and to watch the fireworks! Now, which place should I go?

Putrajaya? A bit far… KLCC? Wow, far and should be jam-packed. In the end, I choosed The Curve at Mutiara Damansara as an ex-colleague told me that there was some big celebration party cum fireworks performance there.

I reached The Curve at roughly 10pm and traffic was really bad because a lot of cars were parked along the roadsides… Anyway, once got inside of The Curve’s basement parking, surprisingly finding a parking spot was a breeze – less than 5 minutes. Perhaps I was lucky but I guess it’s more because not many car owners are willing to even pay RM1… thus they opted to park outside.

There were stilt walkers and clowns giving out figurine balloons and performing all sorts of tricks. There were also some entertainers performing tricks with fire and gasoline! Unfortunately, I couldn’t get near them to catch a photo because of the hugh crowd.

Seconds before midnight, the countdown started, and it’s accompanied by a long 10 minutes of magnificent fireworks display!

The pictures may appear to be a little shaky as I didn’t use a tripod. You know there were so many pretty sexy chics and the fireworks was hot, so I can’t be bothered with a tripod.
