Bumbu Bali, Bandar Puteri Puchong
Sep 10th, 2006 by Neo
I am in love with Bumbu Bali - definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Bandar Puteri Puchong. Yesterday was my second time having my dinner there, last time was in April. Read my previous introduction to Bumbu Bali restaurant.
Reached there early, about 6pm. Not many people, so we were able to choose a table with very good view of the area. Lots of pretty chicks
Food was served pretty fast. Check out these yummy dishes, make sure you have taken yours otherwise you will want to rush to Bandar Puteri in this instant! Hahaha…

Nasi Campur Bumbubali.
This is a delicious dish of squid, prawns, rendang chicken (you can opt for rendang beef), a fish fillet, a stick of specially done satay, some fruits, vegetables and rice. The cooking looks authentically Bali. A bit spicy especially the satay.

Closer look at the seafood in Nasi Campur Bumbubali.

Grilled prawns, squid & fish pasta.
This plate is pretty good too, especially the generous amount of seafood. There are three large grilled prawns, some squids and a few slices of grilled fish. Anyway, the pasta was a little too dry, could have been better if they added in more sauce.

Iced lemon tea and others…
Simple drinks.
Let’s have a look at the place. The restaurant gives us a very deep feeling of Bali, as the wall, staircase, wooden tables and chairs are all decorated in Balinese-style. Promotion and enquiry information are highlighted on a overhead board. For example, Carlsberg Draught is priced at RM36.80 per jug. Is that cheap?

Lots of Balinese decorative items.
These home decorative items are for sale too. 30%
Overall this restaurant is a bit pricey, but great for a delicious meal. However, since the place is a bit warm due to no air conditioning, it’s not advisable to go there in the hot afternoon. If you want to sweat buckets, then no problem lar of course.
