Do you have mosquito problems? Do you hate mosquitos? Does mosquito attack you while you sleep? Do you want to eliminate all the problems with mosquito and kill them all? I believe your answer is all “YES”.
That’s what I ask myself over the past couple of weeks because the mosquito season is here again… I really dread the arrival of mosquitos. In a fine night, I might get attacked by so many mosquitos that with my bare hands I could put away as many as 20 mosquitos.
I know I am bad, but I have to kill them. Their bites are terrible, I just cannot stand the itching and pain of their bites! I have to find a solution…
The solution (I thought) is a “Mosquito Eliminator” which I got from Ace Hardware.

This device looks pretty simple and straight forward. It has a small light in it that is supposed to attract mosquitos, and on top of that it has a small fan at the back to suck the mosquitos in. In between the light and the fan, there’s an electrified mat that will fry any mosquitoe that drops in. Brilliant design, right?

I have the mosquito eliminator running every night for the past week or so… but unfortunately, it doesn’t work that well! All it managed to catch in a night is perhaps a small tiny mosquito or two!… and worse I still get mosquito bites!
I thought this should work better than simple mosquito repellents, or mosquito coils and healtier since it has no smell. But it doesn’t work! Grrrrr…

You plant some mosquito repelling herb like serai (heong mau /citronella grass ), lavender, geranium etc. but u have to crush them a bit for the scent to come out & hope that the smell are not repelling to your own nose….
once some salesman came to our office to recommend us a mosquito eliminator but he said this one not only eliminate mosquito but other bugs including lizards!
how the thing work is that once every hour (or maybe more than an hour), a mist of spray will come out automatically and that is suppose to keep the mosquito away. i don’t quite believe it will work so i didn’t buy it! usually all these strange gadgets (like the mosquitos eliminator you mentioned here) don’t really work.
Just get a swatter and hunt those mosquitos every night. Sacrifice some of your time and have a good sleep. This is one of the best way, unless you’re lazy. :p

I have 4 similar units in my house in PJ and they do not work as well. That is until I added an experimental mosquito attractant called MMA from University Malaya. The traps changed from useless to super mosquito traps and I have cleared my garden since.
Elimainate breeding habitat. They normally will not travel more than 1/4 -1/2 mile. Check yours and your neighbors properties for standing water and clogged rain gutters. There is no mosquito eradication more efficient than eliminating breeding areas.
