   My favourite is Josephine too. But I think she loses out in the final Q & A session. She’s slightly less confident than Novel. And the blardy SMS votes to decide the final 5 is totally ridiculous. Because the way I see it is that, if you have the money, you can definitely squeeze yourself into the top 5. So lame can die!!!

   Novel is pretty. A common kind of pretty look. The kind where you kind find in any street and any lane. And her performance is pretty average too. I’ll anytime vote Josephine and Ling to represent Malaysia to compete at the International level because these two girls definitely have more brains than Novel. Even in her (Novel) answer to the final Q of the Judge regarding what should be improved in our country. She replied Economy but her real answer is more towards the topic on internal security for e.g., rape, snatch thiefs and all. It’s like 9 mm dui 8. Real boo-shit can die!!! I really have no idea why she can win.

   i agreed with titoki.. novel’s answer in the final Q was 9 mm dap 8… too general and not answer to the Q.. ahha..

   i love Josephine also.. disappointed.

   about how mei si can get to top 10… i really had no idea… something wrong with Quality Assurance? hahaha

   i strongly agree with you, i tot josephine can get at no 1. haha. she is so pretty and well in talking too. Yes, Novel not good in the final Q & A.

   I am definitely agreed that novel does not disqualify to represent Malaysia to participate in international level. She looks pretty but too mature. In Q&A section, she answered nervously and not steady at all. I didn’t understand why Astro’s preference always different with international.

   What I knew there was one of the judge Eric Kwok who likes Novel very much and he has been supporting Novel from the beginning. If that nite the judge wasn’t him, the result sure will be different. I think even Ah Ling is better than her. If Josephine lost, Ah Ling will be my choice to be the winner. I wouldn’t like to say that before the contest, I knew the winner will be Novel already because I had friend who worked as crew management in Astro. All are unfair and bull shit!

    Agreed with you tat Novel answer not good but wat to do astro only invited the sponsor as judge which only look for pretty faces not intelligent. They (the judge) only blind by her look la, as long as she can answer something out than she is good enough! u trust me, Novel will have a place in Hong Kong too coz she really have the star look la and can signed up with TVB ma!

    To tell the truth .. Novel is pretty but not very oustanding … Josephine is my choice. I already expected Josephine and Novel to enter the top 3 because I think Josephine is pretty and the same goes to Novel. Novel got 1st place as I expected, I knew that very early when I saw the sms voting result, she got 47%? Something like that.. forogt.. really high one.

    Stop the bashing, Mei Si is pretty, at least pretty from inside. Don’t make bad comment about Mei Si unless you look better than her! Mei Si is the best, I think she is better than all the other contestants, and way better than Rachel Tan and Anabelle Kong! Love Mei Si forever!!!!!

    Woh, i pretty low confident in Novel, i think Malysia has no chance to enter the top 5 finalist in HK competiotion. Ms Novel does not posses a champion look but Josephine does. Astro should reconsider the decision as our Malaysian pageat has doen well in pageat competition throughout the years. Oh, i do not think i will watch the final competion in HK. SAd.

    who say novel is good? if she was good she wont even top 10 also can’t enter in the international pageant. last few years our malaysia pagent even can’t get a good result, but at least can in the top 5…but Novel, even top 10 also can’t in…an bring “egg” back
    ! and last time i saw a passage from chinese newspaper says that she wont come back if she cant win..so proud..but now what she had get??

    why dun u guys go and participate the pageant. u all only know how to critize people. u guys think it is very easy to participate in a pageant. it take a lot of courage. i think all of them have their own beauty. i also agree that josephine is cute and attractive but she didnt have the elegant look. thats is wat need in a pagent. although novel didnt answer well in the Q&A, she got the look. i know one of the judge that night, he said from all the 10 finalist. novel had the elegant look that can represent malaysia. but unfortunately this year the contestant for the miss chinese international is too strong. many of them is very pretty and talented. maybe this is a very bad year for novel. i think she work very hard for the pagent.

    come one lah, Brandon. U have seen the result from HK competition.It proved that we were right, she is “lousy”, we all know even include you.By gone is by gone. She also came back to Malaysia after competition as she ate her words.Pls bear in mind,beauty look and intelligence must come hand in hand Only then you may join the beauty pageant, otherwise forget it!

    First of all, I wanna ask, WHO DID THE MAKE-UP FOR THOSE PAGEANT CANDIDATES? It was so hideous. It was too heavy and dramatic that it looked so late 80’s or early 90’s style. It was so out-of-date. The make-up artist or the company should learn from other countries like HK, US, korea and japan.
    Second of all, I agree with brandon. Josephine was cute but she didn’t have the look, not as outstanding as Novel. She was just like a girl on the street. Common. And I dare to say, even it was josephine won and represented malaysia to HK, the result would be same as Novel. Because it was too competitive. They were all so pretty and outstanding.
    Third of all, y u guys like to criticize ppl? just to want to make yourself feel better? or if u think u r much better, y not taking part of the pageant competition? Novel lost in the international pageant competition, but at least she tried her best and most important, she is doing what she wanna do, something for herself, for her future. What about u? Talking down on ppl or criticizing ppl is your joy? Get a life man!!

    Amanda.. great point if u have seen all the girls in real life or in other events they look way much better then they look when they were in Miss astro. espcially rachel and mei si. I heard the makeup artist that did the make up for them in astro were all students lol explains the horrible look.
    Best part if u look at the picture above of novel !!! that kinda makeup can call miss photogenic??? she looks way better when she did her own make up when saw her back in malaysia.

    I agreed what Brandon said (On March 26th, 2007 at 7:51 am) and Amanda (On April 7th, 2007 at 2:44 pm ) “why dun u guys go and participate the pageant. u all only know how to critize people. u guys think it is very easy to participate in a pageant. it take a lot of courage. i think all of them have their own beauty”. They did their best. If anyone of you were have an opportunity to be on the stage (any competition), I bet you’d hope there are people to support you instead of ‘criticize’ you, right?
