Cheap DVD+R Discs

Have you been to the IT gadgets shop, appropriately named as TechShop in IOI Mall? I bet you have not, that’s also my first visit there yesterday and I didn’t return home empty handed. I got myself a 25-piece pack of DVD+R discs costing RM59.00 only. After RM2 discount, it costed me RM57. Haha… that’s how good is my bargaining skill!

Now you know where you can get your IT supplies without going all the way to the IT center in Mid Valley, or even to Law Yat Plaza, or Imbi Plaza. Of course, these places might be cheaper, but have you considered the highway toll, the parking tickets, the time you travel there and etc?
DVD+R. 4.7GB at 8x
Is 8x a little slow, because I see there are some others which indicate 1-16x? What does it really mean actually? The DVD buring/writing speed?
On top of the 25 pieces of DVD+R discs, a small 1.4GB DVD is given for free. Not sure how I am going to use this small disc, but it looks cute.
Tell you secretly, I have big plans for these DVD+R discs, and since you want to know my big plans so much hopefully you will come back here more often to find out… I will tell you in another post in the near future. That will be an exciting one.

25 pcs 8X DVD+R = RM 57 is NOT CHEAP. instead, it is EXPENSIVE.
yup, 8x, 16x is the DVD burning speed. 8x took around 10min,16x around 7-8 min. not much difference.
I’d normally get Mitsubishi 16x DVD+R, which only cost RM1.25 per piece from lowyat.net forum bulk order.

Mitsubishi is 1st class media, so dun worry about the quality.

Of course. They are the only one of two shops selling tech gadgets in the IOI mall. I think there is another one, right? Not to mention the lousy one within Jaya Jusco.
