I believe you can feel the suspense. You have been waiting anxiously for my porno DVD, which I never promise I will make anyway, haha.

Actually, the DVD+R discs which I bought from Techshop the other day are to be used with my new Samsung Super-Writemaster DVD Writer. This DVD writer costed me RM130 which I bought from the IT Center in The Mines Shopping Centre.

Let’s see what can this gadget do. It can write DVD+R DL, DVD-R DL, DVD-RAM, DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD-R, DVD-RW, CD-R, and CD-RW. It can read not only all the above, but including DVD-ROM and CD-ROM. For DVD+R and DVD-R, this device can support up to 18x speed. And for DVD-R writes, the speed is a amazing at 48x speed! Looks good, right? So many types of media can also write to and read from using this canggih writer from Samsung.

This device also comes with some free software so that we can make the most out of it. Included are Nero DVD/CD writing software, UDF Packet writing software, Nero editing & authoring wizard, Nero Showtime DVD media player, Nero Backup, and Nero Recode DVD copying software. I think I will need some time to install and try out all these.

To be frank, although DVD writers are very common nowadays that almost every new computers are equiped with one as standard, but this is my very first one! Maybe it’s just me who is waiting for the price to drop so low then only buy one. Is RM130 for this expensive?

I am sure the price at Low Yat is cheaper, but I don’t fancy going there for just a small DVD writer. The small price difference just do not justify the long traffic jam and expensive parking ticket.
