Look What Blogging Bought Me This Time!
Dec 20th, 2006 by Neo
I know that a lot of popular bloggers in Malaysia are earning a lot of money from blogging. A few of them have even turned to become full time bloggers… simply because the earning from blogging is much more rewarding than staying at their previous employment!
Although I am not able to dump my 9 to 5 job now, I am glad to say that I have had earned enough to buy myself a glass of herbal tea months ago. Laugh at that please. But look what blogging had bought me this time; A nice dinner at Manhattan Fish Market
This was not the first time we dined at Manhattan Fish Market, but this time we were free to order what ever we fancy because it’s free money! Hahaha…

The restaurant was cozy and quiet. Perhaps because it’s not a weekend and MFM’s food stuffs are not cheap.

Some chics were having their dinner at the nicely decorated corner of the restaurant.
Because there were very few customers that evening, our orders were served promptly. Good for us as we were running late for our movie… I think we had allowed us barely 45 minutes for dinner.

This Garlic Butter Mussels was our appetizer… since it’s not cheap we had to share the catch of the day lar… haha. 5 mussels for the price of RM13.90. The meat is tender and juicy
Now, check out our main courses.

This is Seafood Platter One - Flamed (RM25.90). Mainly, it contains a big slice of fish, some prawns, some chips and a big portion of garlic fried rice. I am not sure what fish is that, but it tastes pretty good, so does the prawns, and the chips, and the fried rice. Haha, everything is nice. A platter to be recommended if you happened to visit MFM.

Look at the waitress here flaming the seafood right in front of us. She was holding a portable small can and the flames was blazing out of there… cool!
The other thing we ordered was this: Manhattan Fish and Chips.

This one was just moderate, I mean nothing too special from those fish and chips you have at the other restaurants. Costed us RM14.90 tough. All the above, plus a couple glasses of drinks and service charges & government tax, the bill came out to a total of RM76++. Haha, luckily my cheque foot the bill this time, otherwise I will have to declare bankruptcy!
Overall, MFM is a nice place to go to if you prefer a nice, quite and cozy place to enjoy some seafood. Their platters are good for big eaters… while the fish and chips is ideal for a light meal.
OK, that was what blogging had bought me this time… wait util when my next cheque arrives and I shall bring you some nicer food, hopefully!

I went 2-3 days ago, it’s really gone downhill, the appetiser was inedible and the main courses were mediocre.
The service was absolutely terrible.
I won’t be going there again.
Wah kawan, fatt tat looooooo.
sure? I mean blogging bought you a dinner at Manhattan Fish Market. I think your site is pretty well blended in adsense. You should have more than that.
Keep it up !
Wow.. Congrats!
I am glad that Blogging does pay off. We’re hoping ours will too!! Keep it up!

Wow… you must feel good about “eating what you’ve earned”. Heh.
I had a similar experience. When my last Google check was cleared, I bought myself an Imation DVD-RAM Internal Burner at the recent PC Fair in JB.
And since I have a few hundred more to spare, I think I’ll get a new casing for my PC.
Thanks for commenting on my blog.

If i crave for fish, Manhattan Fish Market is the one I cry for. I’ve been eating at Subang Parade branch for ages now. The fish in your pic is dory fish. Next time, try their herb fish. Very nice.
That place is soooooooo freaking expensive lah… The first time went with some friends was RM200+ bill the second time I tried to go with my girl, it also freaking cost me RM80+, what the heck…
