I spent my last weekend with lots of dogs and puppies at 1 Utama. It was the Malaysia K9 Day 2007 held on 14th January, 2007 at Central Park, Bandar Utama. This is an annual event dedicated to all dogs, be it a mixed breed dog, pure breed dog, big dog, small dog, or just a puppy. All are welcome to make the event more meaningful.

Although I do not own a dog but I like dogs very much and I made it a point to wake up early that morning so that I can go there early. Haha… but as usual I woke up a little late than I wanted to. Blame it on the faulty alarm clock

Anyway, let’s enjoy some doggy pictures shall we?

Does this big dog look familiar to you? Haha… he was the one we saw in the UPM Dogathon! What a small world, so lucky to meet this dog again, and as though the dog recognised me he woof woof-ed at me. Haha

At one end of the park, there is this big pond where some dogs were happily showing off their swimming skills. Now only you know dogs can also swim so well ah… So for those of you who don’t know how to swim, ashame of yourself or not?

When the day approached noon, it became hotter and hotter. The ice cream had no effect in cooling myself down, I thought of joining the dogs in the pond also

As with the UPM Dogathon, there were some demonstrations too.

That’s the demonstration by the Malaysian police force. The dogs were very obedient, where they followed exactly what their masters told them to do. How nice if I had one of the dogs,… I can ask him to guard my house, wash my car, do the laundry…

One of the crowd puller show was of course the Malaysia Dog Beauty Pageant 2007. Here, we didn’t get to see hot, sexy and beautiful beauty contestants, but instead we got to see some of the best dogs.

The dog is as nice as the owner

Below are some random pictures of the dogs there. Most of the dogs didn’t really participate in any contests or demonstrations, their owners just wanted to be there for the fun, get to know other dog owners/lovers, mingle around, etc.

Cute puppy. The puppy owner lured her with a pice of hot dog (ah, hot DOG) so that she looked up for me to take a sharp photo of her. So cute!!

I am sure most of you haven’t seen a dog swimming before, and since I am so very nice, I will not disappoint you. Token of appreciation for visiting my blog everyday
