Wong Mew Choo, Koo Kien Keat and Tan Boon Heong
Jan 25th, 2007 by Neo
Guess what, we are still at the Kuala Lumpur Badminton Stadium enjoying the matches where Malaysian players are competing. When you paid RM32 for a ticket, of course you would like to stay longer, enjoy the aircon, enjoy the comfy seat and the electrifying atmosphere so that you get the ticket worth every cents you paid.
Wong Mew Choo was playing against the youngster from the mighty China, Zhu Lin. The match was awesome seeing Mew Choo chasing every corners of the court trying to put pressure on the Chinese player.

Mew Choo made history when she became the first Malaysian women to qualify for the Malaysian Open final since the series was revived in 1982. However, she failed in her bid to become the first Malaysian in 42 years to win the women’s singles title when she went down 15-21, 12-21 to Zhu Lin.

That’s the pretty Wong Mew Choo. So graceful when she served.
Malaysian rising doubles stars Koo Kien Keat and Tan Boon Heong certainly did not have much trouble beating the formidable American-Indonesian pair of Tony Gunawan-Candra Wijaya 21-15, 21-16 in an exciting men’s doubles final.

This match was the match of the day. The crowd was cheering and screaming with joy whenever the Malaysiaon duo made any jumping smash… you have to be there to feel the electrifying atmosphere!

But, since you can’t be there. Let me show you a smashing video to make you regret! Enjoy!
So, how many smashes, drops, and drives did the Malaysian pair made in the video?
