Going back to Sibu

If you are a Sarawakian working in KL and would like to go back to your homeland for the Chinese New Year or any big festivities, then you should know that you should do your ticket booking as early as half a year in advance in order to secure cheaper prices. I know this, but I was a little undecided whether want to go back this year or not, and ended up booking the ticket a little late.
However, we are still lucky to be able to go back this year, but the flight was a little early! It departs from LCCT as early as 7am!

Imagine having to wake up 4am in the morning, get prepared and travel to the airport! The taxi charges is also double when you travel before 6am. But no choice lar, once a year mah.

The above photo was taken when I was queuing up at the staircase while boarding the plane.

Once we were in the plane, everything was great. And the most enjoyable moment was when we watch the beautiful air stewardess showing us how to use all the safety gears in case of emergency. But it could be much better if there was a little more space in the seating. Oh, how come it’s so narrow?

My balls were squeezed! Haha

But luckily they were not crushed a couple of hours later when we finally touched down at the Sibu airport. Look how bright was Sibu when we reached our destination. The weather was superb and my family members were already waiting to fetch us.
It’s a tiring day and I guess it’s time to stop. Till next time… bye!
