Fax to Paypal to revive Limited Account Access

By now, you all know that my Paypal’s account has been restricted with limited access, almost certainly due to an attempt to withdraw a large sum of money… which Paypal view as an unusual activity or action. I am asked to fax them some documents to prove my identity. The documents they require include some photo IDs to proof that myself is actually myself! Weird or not? But, however difficult it’s I have to do it and glad to say I have already done so!
I brought back my office’s fax machine since I do not want to disturb my boss in the office… and I knew that I will need patience to fax a total of 18 documents to the US. Line to a number as far in the US won’t be stable.
Now, it wasn’t as easy as load up the papers, dial a number and press the Start button. My house number doesn’t have IDD (International Direct Dialing) capability, which is common to all household numbers unless you subscribe to it. What this means is I will have to fax via a telephonist. That’s my first time faxing via a telephonist… and I found it to be quite interesting, and I believe not many of you have done this before. If you want to try, dial 101 (as opposed to 103 for domestic numbers assistance) and choose the fax connection option. 
As expected connection quality to the US wasn’t good at all because first two attempts failed halfway. I barely managed to fax 2 documents on the first attempt, and 3 documents on the 2nd attempt before the connection dropped, and the paper stopped to roll.
I was so anxious waiting for the paper to roll cm by cm (old fax machine)… sometimes it paused for a few moments before it started rolling again. Whenever it paused to gasp for air, I would hold my breath fearing it will stop just like that!
Anyway, now that all the documents are faxed I hope Paypal will review them seriously and get back to me soon with some good news. You all say is it worthwhile to go through all the trouble to revive my account back to normal standing for a few thousands of US dollar (* account balance) or not?
* Does that create some gaga effect?

I thinks it’s more related to international debit card. I transfer and receive paypal fund for so long, haven’t experience this before.

I have received an email reply from Paypal. Nope, they cannot lift the limited access yet because they require more information from me… Headache preparing what they need, but got to do it and have to do it fast… losing money now.
Aiyo, cannot send via email to them ar? so mah fan one. Somemore the fee of faxing 18 pages to them…die..expensive ler

Not sure if you can just email to them, but they specifically requested to fax to them. Anyway, after the initial fax, I followed up with some further explanation and ‘proof of inventory’ by email which were accepted by them.

The ‘more information’ includes detailed explanation of the sources of the payments that I received. What they are for, from who, etc.
Do you have their fax number? I’m in the same boat and I’m having a heck of time locating their fax number!
neo, don’t mind me asking.. what are the actually documents that you are faxing over. I would like to prepare the documents first before I’m slammed with the Limited Access.

There is 2 things I need to do, ‘confirm” and “fax documents”. “Fax documents” I understand but, confirm?
I click on resolve for “confirm” and it came out with “You have no bank accounts that can be confirmed. PayPal does not currently offer the ability to confirm your bank account.”

So i added 0044 infront and removed the 0. So it became 00448707303194.
But no luck… Anybody got any suggestions?

Please, I have an American express card, when the paypal asked me the number of the extended use I did not know that number was, nor where to find, then after I efetuei two transactions “paypal” I asked for this number, for not knowing I put the number of protection of the card, not satisfied! I tried two more veses! Result! My card was off the “paypal” how to reactivate the card in the paypal?

I have experienced that too. This is what their instructions are:
This card has been disabled for use on PayPal. You can add a different card.
If you would still like to use this card, fax a copy of your driver’s license or other photo ID along with a copy of the card statement. The card statement must show at least the last 4 digits of the card number and your name and street address. (The name and street address must match the name and address you registered with PayPal.) Please use this form for your fax cover sheet. Not using the fax cover sheet when submitting your documents could result in a processing delay.
