How to cut a ceramic tile
May 7th, 2007 by Neo
Still remember I talked about my car porch tiles, which I asked you to suggest on what sort of design I should go for? I have finally decided on the design and get the rennovation started. It progressed pretty good and I have actually learned a lot of new tricks from them. When they are busy doing their work, I will disturb them with lots of silly questions from how to stick the tiles onto the floor to how to take care of them afterwards.
But among all the new tricks, the most interesting one which a lot of you might not know is how to cut a piece of tile to the size or shape you want. You use a simple tool as shown below.

This tool looks pretty simple but I bet you won’t know how to use it if I didn’t show you, unless you are in the construction industry or you are a DIY maniac! Anyway, let me get my sifu to demonstrate how to operate this tool to cut a piece of tile.
Now you have learnt the trick, next time you can tile your own car porch and perhaps build your own house! Just DIY!
By the way, I am using White Horse tiles since I hear their advertisement on the media everyday so I thought they must be good.
