Kiwi X’press Bakery & Cafe, Bandar Puteri Puchong
Jun 4th, 2007 by Neo
Guess what followed my Starbucks breakfast? It’s the dinner at Kiwi X’press Bakery & Cafe, which is located in Bandar Puteri, Puchong. This is a new establishment in Bandar Puteri, taking the place of some other restaurant which went tabau because there are too many cafes and restaurants in this area.
The restaurant is very greenly decorated. At one corner, there are so many plants making you feel like you are having a picnic in the wild!

There is even a small water fountain in there.

Nice or not? After your meal, you can wash your hand here. Lol, just kidding okay. Don’t do that in any restaurant.
OK, since we are all hungry already. Let’s check out the food. Before you place any order, check the price first, some are as expensive as RM50 a plate for a single person.

Fresh kiwi juice is a must at a Kiwi Restaurant. This one actually comes with the Chicken Chop set that I ordered.

Does the above picture make your mouth water? The meat was quite nice, although the broccoli and carrot pieces were tasteless. The other thing I need to point out was the sauce which was too little, way too little. If you like having your fries with the sauce then you are out of luck, just like me had to use the chilli sauce instead.

My set came with a slice of cake too. I get to choose from 5 or 6 choices, and I simply picked that chocolate cum banana cake. Tasted yummilicious! As I was too hungry, the chicken chop, the chocolate cum banana cake, and the kiwi juice all disappeared from the table in less than 20 minutes! LOL!

That’s the pasta that my friend had. Looks delicious, right?
Before I end today’s story, you look at their menu’s cover. How come got head hunter one? Is New Zealand infamous for head hunting?

As a client I could say that the decor is cool. As a Chef (I am) I have to say that the food is like a cantine. Yuk%$£*&**&! What a imaginative and creative Chef. Prision Break Cantine.
