Toyota Altis going cheap. Go to your nearest Toyota showroom today!

I know you are as excited as me when you read that Toyota Altis is going cheap. I very much want to own a new Toyota Altis too… the car is so luxurious and spacious, it must be fun driving around town and getting all the attention of the girls. Haha. It costs only S$34,800. Can you believe it, it’s so affordable you can’t even buy a Vios, or Honda City with this kind of pricing.
I am not pulling your leg. My friend from Singapore drove all the way down to KL to show me his new Altis, and I must admit it’s a very impressive car!

Look at the front of the car. Got gaya or not?! But I thought the number plate could be a bit bigger so as to fit in nicely into the slot on the front bumper?

For those who are familiar with Singapore cars, you should know from the color of the number plate that this is a night car. Yes, red number plate means that this car can only be on the road from 7pm to 7am Mondays through Fridays. Singapore government is very generous too, you can use the car on the road from 3pm onwards on Saturdays (or a public holiday eve) up until 7am of the next working day.

So, basically this car is for you to drive after you come back from work. For you to go clubbing with friends and go dating with your girls. Singapore government is really thoughtful.

However, if you prefer to drive to work, then you have to add S$17k for a “normal” car which you can drive on the road whenever you like 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!

Actually, my friend was considering a few options including Honda City, Honda Accord and Toyota Camry before deciding on Altis because the S$17k discount (for the night car version) was truly irresistible. Imagine you can buy a Toyota Altis at RM35k in Malaysia?!

Furthermore, Toyota Singapore was generous enough to throw in a number of freebies which include reverse sensors, leather seat, and window tinting; for a limited time only. So, my friend was so excited that he bought the car straight away and before long he was driving on the road a happy man with his darling! Truly a good buy hor? Happy for them.
Now, excuse me please. I want to go to a Toyota showroom. You want to come along?
