Interesting pictures from Thailand
Jul 29th, 2007 by Neo
Nothing much happened these couple of days apart from the usual downpour in the afternoon, making it difficult for me to make plans to go out. That makes a blogger’s life difficult and what else suffers but the page views and income. Anyway, I browsed my pictures collection and guess perhaps you would like to see some random but interesting photos I took in Phuket, Thailand.

Sexy lingerie, or are these bikini and beach wears? I am not sure, but I guess foreigners and some locals love wearing these to the beaches. A lot of shops carry hot bikini like these, so no problem for you to buy them here.

A row of the famous tutu car (the Thailand cab) waiting for customers at the road side. Typically these tutu cars are painted in red or pink color to attract customers attention.

Beautiful paintings, almost all of them are painted in oil. Actually I am interested in paintings too if you didn’t know, and I was glad there are so many painting gallerys in Phuket. I had lots of fun visiting and looking at how the artists paint them bits by bits. But what’s disappointing is almost all of them do oil paintings only. I couldn’t find my favorite, water color paintings.

Beautiful Thailand beach, captured when our group were ushered into the speed boat to start our island hopping which lasted for almost a good whole day! Tiring. More about these in another post.

A shops that specializes in Thailand tidbits. You can a variety of casual nuts in a whole range of different tastes from sweet to sour to hot and spicy. There are honey flavored and coconut flavored variants too. You just have to come here to try them, and yes all they provide free samples for you to try.

An elephant shaped plant at the elephant trekking site.

This is a hard working Thai lady peddling her fried chicken outside of the hotel where we were staying. She’s there no matter what time we passed by her stall, early morning and late night included. She happily posted for my camera after we bought a few pieces of chicken from her. Tasted good!

Another Thailand hawker who smiled for my camera. We ordered a bowl of chicken soup noodles from her and it was not too bad. Here’s a photo of what we had that night, it was quite late if I recalled correctly perhaps around 9:30pm.

Don’t try fried kuey teow, it’s horrendous. My friend ordered it and immediately declared it’s not edible the moment she took a small bite. I didn’t believe her and tasted a little… to which I regretted because it could be the worst thing I had ever put in my mouth. It tasted sweet and salty at the same time. Hard to describe.
OK, that’s the end of the random pictures. Thank you for reading.
