Beijing 2008 Olympic torch design
Aug 3rd, 2007 by Neo
It’s getting very late now so today perhaps we can take a rest from our usual posts which are loaded with tonnes of pictures. You know, they take a long time to Photoshop, upload and present to you. However, today I want to show you a great discovery which will make the Chinese real proud. What else could that be other than the Beijing 2008 Olympic?
Okay, that’s not a discovery in my part, but I just realized that the 2008 Beijing Olympic torch design is really superb. You can truly appreciate its beauty and the message it try to bring forward by playing with the awesome flash animation here.

Although it’s late, I can’t help myself but spent a good 30 minutes playing with the various interactive features of the animation. You can try the magnifier to inspect the torch in more detail, hover your mouse over the small icons to zoom in the vital features more closely, rotate the torch left and right, or just enjoy the background music. The only thing they don’t have is rotate the torch in 3 dimensional.
Have you bought yourself 2008 Beijing Olympic tickets?
