Well done, Wong Mew Choo
Aug 17th, 2007 by Neo
Woo woo, did you watch the live telecast of the match between Wong Mew Choo and Xie Xing Fang yesterday evening? It was such an outstanding match in third round of the World Championships at the Putra Stadium in Bukit Jalil yesterday. The Malaysian number 1 women player defied overwhelming odds to become the first Malaysian woman to reach the singles quarter-finals of the championships. Yes, she beat the crowd favorite Xie Xing Fang in stunning fashion!

Mew Choo won the match with such an unbelievable score 21-10, 21-8. Her win could most likely be attributed to the strong draught in the stadium. The one who has more control wins the match.
Well done Mew Choo. Keep up the good work and show Zhu Lin what you are made of.
Lee Chong Wei, don’t give up. I am sure you can do better next time. The highly-motivated Indonesian Sony Dwi Kuncoro sent Chong Wei packing, winning the match 21-11, 21-9.

That’s Sony’s neck.
Haha… I am so bad.
“Nobody trips over mountains. It is the small pebble that causes you to stumble. Pass all the pebbles in your path and you will find that you have crossed the mountain.” Quotes from an unknown author.
By the way, have you bought your ticket to the championships? Now with Taufik Hidayat and Lee Chong Wei out… maybe I am not so motivated to go anymore… Better watch at the comfort of your home. How about you?
