It’s disappointing to learn that The Royal London Circus has to end their shows in Puchong Utama much earlier than originally planned. But what’s more disappointing is their failure to officially announce this information to the public and especially to those who have already bought their tickets before hand. Some come with the whole family from places far far away only to see the circus tent being disassembled. Imagine the frustration and disappointment.

I was shocked to know this too. Their last show in Puchong Utama was on the 12th September 2007. According to information I gathered, they have to call it a day because they couldn’t get the green light from MPSJ (Majlis Perbandaran Subang Jaya) to continue to perform in the Ramadan month. Although this sounds quite ridiculous, but I am in no position to comment further. Here, I need to apologize to the circus ticket VIP winners who were not being informed earlier about the closure.

Anyway, the good news for people in Klang is that they are coming to meet you in Bandar Botanic very soon. Perhaps as soon as 11 Oct 2007. So, this time make sure you go to the circus early and not wait until the local authorities come to make trouble. In the meantime, do enjoy this thrilling performance of five motorbike riders in gravity-defying dare-devil spinning stunts inside a metal ball which I personally captured when the show was still on in Puchong Utama.

This unbelievable motorbike stunt was brought to you by the “Los Machos” group from Columbia. If you didn’t watch it here you thought they will only exist in movies. Now to make it more nerve breaking, you got to watch this in video.

You see that? Five stunt men riding their bikes whirling inside the metal ball simultaneously. A split second of miscalculation would spell disaster for all of them and to hell with the circus. They even had difficulty finding space to park their bikes inside the small globe, you can see how small is the margin for error. Trust me, you need nerves of steel just to watch!
