Today marks the official pre-launch of Mynic’s .my domain name system.

Yes .my is finally here! Unfortunately (or fortunately) it is not a first-come-first served basis. Mynic is offering “Priority Entry Period” to .com.my owners to take up the corresponding .my domain for a period of 2 months (up to 31 December 2007).

Only registrants who have registered 3LD/s (ie, .com.my) with MYNIC before or by 5.00 p.m. on 26th October 2007 with an active domain name (i.e. not pending a transfer or deletion process) at the time of application will be entitled to apply for 2LD/s during the priority entry period.

It looks like chances are pretty slim…. wait, I nearly forgot Sexy.com.my! A search for this domain name on Mynic.net throws “Sorry, Domain Name sex.com.my does not follow the Rules Of Choices of Domain Name”. What the …?
