Malawati Stadium the venue for Clash of Times and Clash of Titans

Calling all tennis fans, I am sure you are as excited as I am, can’t sleep thinking of the upcoming biggest tennis event in this region. What could be bigger in the history of tennis when you have the current world number 1 ranked tennis player Roger Federer playing against former world number 1, predecessor Pete Sampras?

Not only that, tennis fans will also get to see top Frenchman Richard Gasquet playing against the current world number 2, Rafael Nadal. Undeniably, the biggest tennis event of the century in this region.

I can’t resist myself but to venture into Shah Alam to find out the exact location of the playing venue, Malawati Stadium for I am not familiar with Shah Alam at all. I don’t want to stuck in traffic jams on the play day… can’t find my way and have to call everybody I know for directions. Better to check out the place before hand.

It took me many wrong turns and dead end roads before I finally reached Malawati Stadium, but not before so many roundabouts.

Haha, for people familiar with this route… there are too many roundabouts, right? I am not sure if I can remember which way to turn or not given the many roundabouts. First one, go straight, second one, straight again… then the third one at Kayangan, turn at 3 o’clock direction… something like that.

Malawati Stadium (some spell it as Melawati Stadium) is behind/beside the gigantic Shah Alam Stadium, an important stadium for the Commonwealth Games… years ago.
Are you going to get autographs from your favorite tennis players, Pete Sampras? Roger Federer?… maybe Rafael Nadal? Or perhaps Richard Gasquet?… Too bad Maria Sharapova and Daniela Hantuchova are not coming. ![]()

Yes Shah Alam has tonnes of roundabout.
Depends where you enter Shah Alam….not all road you have to go through roundabout. E.g. If you go in by Tesco Extra (used to be Macro) way…then only 1 roundabout.
This will sure a hot event for those who love tennis
Can’t be there, but will stay at home watching live!
Tennis these days is like F1 few years back when Schumacher dominated. It is always Roger Federer… don’t think Pete Sampres will have much of a chance. He was good, but might as well get John McEnroe or Jimmy Connors to come in.
can you give us the url of the official site of “clash of times” ?
moreover on which channels can we see it ? thanks for your great site !
