Christmas decoration and performance at Pavilion KL
Dec 25th, 2007 by Neo
Ho Ho Ho… Joy to the World. Wishing all my readers and visitors an extremely Merry Chirstmas!
I was in Pavilion KL last Sunday. Actually, I didn’t expect to do any shopping, I was there more for checking out the place and… not forgetting to savor the infamous J.Co donuts. As expected the crowd there was overwhelming, looked like everyone rushed here for some last minute shopping for the big Christmas day. Earlier, I was lucky to find a parking the minute I drove into the basement parking. Must be my Santa luck to find an empty slot so damn fast.
Anyway, without further ado, let me show you the decoration at Pavilion KL.

Wow… a white huge Christmas tree! Absolutely different from all the others at the other shopping centers.

What’s best is this Christmas tree changes color. I believe this decoration is better than the one in Mid Valley. But that’s just my personal opinion.
I was surprised to see many shoppers resting on the steps just in front of the Christmas tree. It wasn’t long before I found out that they were waiting for the big Christmas performance for the day! As usual, I was delighted to watch the performance, more delighted to take some photos and videos, and even more delighted to show them to you!

The performers right before the show. Many including yours truly rushed to take a few shots of these beautifully dressed handsome and gorgeous. So beautiful, the lady at the back looked like a real princess.

Soon, the show started. I was glad to be able to stand very close to the stage. Equipped with my old but reliable Sony DSC P10, I took many closeup shots… although most of them were blurry… all because this is a compact camera so it couldn’t capture moving subjects clearly, but some shots turned out watchable. Again, time to get a DSLR. Perhaps Nikon has some 50% discount for the New Year?

Although I didn’t really get to understand the whole show, but overall it was great. Very colorful, cheerful and simply good to watch!
Let me end this post today with a couple of videos.
Nice or not?
Cheers! Merry Christmas! Ho ho ho… remember to hang out your socks so that Santa can put your Christmas presents in it. ![]()

Thanks for the little tour. Very interesting!
Psst, if I hung my unwashed socks out tonight not only would Santa not come in, my home would be uninhabitable. :s
Merry X’mas neo!
I’ve bent there with my parents twice. The atmosphere there really expresses the Christmas spirits. It was a marvelous performance, the best I’ve ever saw in my life!!!

Furkids in Hong Kong,
I wonder would a panties work the same? Ho ho ho…
ylloo,
Yupe, I love the changing color Christmas tree and the performance. However, it’s totally a different situation with the huge crowd in the FoodRepublic food court.
Che-Cheh,
Same to you. Are you working today?
allenooi,
Merry Xmas.
Grace,
Happy New Year!
bidarlah,
Boxing?! But I prefer badminton. But serious I don’t do boxing nor badminton in shopping malls. I just stay at home in front of my idiot box.
keeyit,
I hope you enjoyed the videos.
MonkeyWong,
Yupe, simply because it’s the latest shopping mall in town. I am aiming for the J.Co donuts.
Mama BoK,
I want to experience snowy Christmas!
Its actually not that hard to find parking in Pavillion. I went there during the grand opening weekend and was there 4-5 hours. Got whacked RM9 for that!
Your pictures are fine… Very nice coverage and shots! I missed that show on the stage, sadly
You still haven’t tried the J CO donuts? Me too! Because the queue is always so damn long, I also lazy to line up.
