Homemade red bean soup
Jan 16th, 2008 by Neo
Like I said yesterday, nothing much happened lately… except Australian Open, but of course that’s in the OZ land. I could have went there to see my favorite players such as Justine Henin Hardene, Maria Sharapova and Hantuchova, and stayed at my blog buddy’s house. Hahaha… Wuching, OK or not? But because of the recent AdSense earning drop, the plan has to be canceled. Maybe postponed to next year.
Anyway, just can’t help myself but feel really excited about the Malaysia Open badminton championship. It’s currently being held in Stadium Putra, Bukit Jalil and I have my ticket ready for this Saturday. Can’t wait for the day to come!
No money to go to OZ and Malaysia Open is not shown on TV, so what to do? Enjoy my homemade red bean soup. Hahaha.

You need to excuse me for not inviting you for a bowl earlier. You can see in the picture above, I have nearly finished the whole pot because it’s simply delicious! I gobbled up one bowl after another… couldn’t stop.
Now, if you are looking for the recipe to this wonderful dessert, I have it right here for you.
1. Add water to some red beans in a large pot. Bring to a boil. Preferably use a slow cooker.
2. Reduce heat. Let it simmer for at least 3 hours or until soup thickens a little.
3. Add sugar, cook for a while longer.
4. Serve cold or hot.

Well, the above is absolutely the simplest red bean soup recipe ever. But it tastes superb. I like it served cold with a few ice cubes. Some people like to add lotus seeds to bring out the tenderness in the red beans, but can’t find those at my home, so I just cook it the simplest way!
Next time, I show you green bean soup, OK?

Che-Cheh,
I also know how to cook instant noodles. Got Indomie, Mee Sedaap, Mamee… and many others. Haha.
Justine hot meh? Btw, she dropped her Hardenne oredi after the recent divorce.
I like red bean soup too. If add some sago even taste better.
you make me hungry now -.-
hcfoo,
Justine is not sexily hot because her boobs are too small for my liking, whahaha… but I love her powerful backhand. Although lately seems like the power has somehow dropped, ah… maybe because of the dropped Hardenne?? Anyway, it’s still much better than most other two-handed backhand, right?
MerDuriaN,
Go grab a bite. If you are too lazy to go out or don’t know how to cook maggie mee, then call 1300-13-1300 for McDonalds delivery.
