Andy Roddick loses to Kohlschreiber in 3rd round of Australian Open

Can you believe it? Andy Roddick who’s ranked 6th, loses to Philipp Kohlschreiber, a German who’s ranked 29th in the 3rd round of Australian Open. It was such a spectacular five-set match which lasted nearly four hours in the early hours of Saturday morning in Melbourne. It certainly had me glued in front of my TV for hours.

The score was 6-4, 3-6, 7-6 (9), 6-7 (3), 8-6. Victory to the German. Roddick could have a better chance of winning if Kohlschreiber had not created 3 ridiculous (Jim Courier who interviewed him said so) passes in the last game!
Next, Kohlschreiber will face Jarkko Nieminen on Sunday for a place in the last eight of the year’s opening slam.
Source: Roddick rolled in famous battle.

Can’t wait to see the match between Anna Chakvetadze and Maria Kirilenko which is scheduled to play first tomorrow. Both of them are pretty, other than Daniela Hantuchova of course.
She will play Virginia Ruano Pascual at the MCA, so not too sure if they are going to air this. Then, later of the day, another match to look forward will be men’s singles between Lleyton Hewitt and Marcos Baghdatis.

LOL, hope you didn’t missed the ‘hot chicks’ match.
I can’t believe Roddick will lost. But I’m sure Kohlschreiber is enjoying his moment in Australia as he has a lot of fans there. PRobably he will give more surprises.
Too bad today I am going to Bukit Jalil for the Malaysian Open badminton championships.
I was hoping Roddick could win, but he just missed the last game because the German returned ridiculous passes! Hell yes, let’s see what surprises Kohlschreiber can pull up next.
I missed the Roddick game…aiseh…just watch the beginning a bit. Aiseh. So many surprise result this year.
