Niu Ze Xui, a new vibrant place for shopping, working and dining in Ara Damansara

Today, let me bring you to Niu Ze Xui. Yes, you heard me right, but no, don’t worry, you do not need to travel down to Singapore because we have our own Niu Ze Xui right within Ara Damansara, Petaling Jaya now! Haha… don’t scratch your head in feeling you are out-dated because I am sure not many of you have heard of this new happening place before. Trust me, even many of my friends in Petaling Jaya have no clue where it is.
Let me show you some photos while we tour the place. Come, don’t be shy!

This Chinatown-like place which is quite similar to Petaling Street only much cleaner, newer and more organized, is easily accessible from the LDP. If you were heading towards Damansara, you will definitely pass by Kelana Jaya Giant Hypermarket. Right after this hypermarket, keep to your left and turn in a housing area called Taman Emas. After that, it’s pretty straight forward as you merely need to follow the traffic. Before long you will find yourself within a newly launched housing and commercial area which is really huge!
Niu Ze Xui is enclosed right in the heart of this vibrant and lively place.

I was impressed with how huge is the covered boulevard, perhaps one of the largest in the country. The moment I stepped inside, I could really feel the festive and inviting atmosphere. A few stores were busy with customers browsing and buying Chinese New Year goodies.

Look at all the Chinese New Year cards and decorative items. So red, so much in the traditional CNY spirits! But, don’t worry if you do not like “traditional” so much, there are many more specialty stores, fabulous boutiques, galleries and eateries to check out.

At one corner of the boulevard, I came across this DVD store which sells an assortment of DVDs at reasonable prices… hehe, I am sure you know what that means. Browsing DVDs has never been more relaxing!

You want to join this dude to get your nails done? The chick in this manicure kiosk is a specialist in pleasing you… give you a hell of a cosmetic treatment of your hands and fingernails, including trimming and polishing them.

Toys, remote control cars, bikes and even helicopter are also found here. If these do not interest you, maybe you will be in the following adult toy.

What were you thinking? I mean the above mini bike which is only 3 feet tall lar, nothing dirty here OK. Don’t show me your pathetic look, this mini bike is road-worthy and you can ride this on the road and get envy glances!

Japanese mochi. I haven’t got a chance to try this, but looks absolutely delicious and the number of people buying should support my induction.

What is this store selling? No, not paints and coloring materials, but surprise, surprise… they are selling watches! Out of this world store design, right or not? But, it would be much better if he had installed a cabinet to put his messy stuff under the shelves… Anyway, maybe he has just moved here from Petaling Street, so for him this is way better than the condition in the old place already… so, why bother?

Fancy for a hair cut for the coming Chinese New Year? Get it done here and now at “Supreme Cut & Color Bar”. Latest, trendy, stylo, hygiene, with additional creative color service. What else can you ask more?

Even pets store is available here too! So, in short what ever comes to your mind, you can find it here… but of course not aeroplane and yacht lar. Hahahaha…
However, although you might not be able to find J.Co’s Donuts here, but you can find its brother donuts here! Check this out, the queue wasn’t as crazy as those in Pavilion KL, but the donuts looked absolutely yummy!

Mouth watering already and want to grab some donuts? Come to Big Apple Donuts & Coffee, located strategically in front of the entrance. You will not miss this… and you can detect the fragrance donuts from 2 kilometers away if you are a donuts person. Hahaha…
OMG, I have put up so many photos here… and we have wasted too much time loitering here. Better get back to business… but I have tonnes of interesting photos yet to show you. Maybe in a future post. If you have time, do visit Niu Ze Xui, I assure you this is a really nice place to hang out!

Wah. Got meh? I’ve been living in PJ all my life. I have no clue too.
Need go check it out. Cool. Thanks.
Since they open up this place, they have created massive traffic jam at the road that passes by the underground tunnel. Specially in the evening. Unfortunately I have to pass by that road every day to go to my condo. Sigh!
But honestly, I got a feeling this place is going hyped for temporary only unless they do something about the road system there. I think if you have been there you know la how small is the road.
@ It’s just the hyped promotion by the developer that’s why its happening for now.
