Chinese New Year WordPress theme design

Dong dong chiang… no, don’t shake your monitor and rub your eyes, you have come to the right blog and not any other blog. You are at Hot Screensaver. What you are seeing is a brand new theme!
Today, finally I have some time on my hand to sit down to change the age old Christmas Theme to something more appropriate now: Chinese New Year theme. What do you think on your first impression, can you feel the festive and seasonal mood or not?

I purposely put in lots of red and orange colors to signify prosperity and happiness. Of course it won’t be complete without traditional lion dance where the dancers spring about energetically moving and shaking the lions heads, the jaws and the eyes! In fact I wanted to add some red packets (angpows) and oranges as well, but on second thought I kind of worry it may make the header picture too complicated so the idea was dropped.
Anyway, how about you? Have you changed your blog’s theme in the spirit of welcoming a Prosperous and Happy Chinese New Year? ![]()
