Warming up 2008 general election campaign
Feb 21st, 2008 by Neo
Malaysians will go to the polls on 8th March 2008 in the 12th general elections. We all know about this as this has been announced by the Election Commissioner Abdul Rashid Abdul Rahman on the 13th of February. There is nothing interesting about this… but do you know that I had a hunch that the election is going to come real soon even a few days before that? Haha… I was like the Oracle in The Matrix who can predict the future…
There was a get together evening at a MCA branch in a small village in Kuala Kangsar. People do not organize events for nothing, right or not? Anyway, the night was pretty warm… not sure if it was because it’s hot with too many people or it was the girls!

I could hear the loud deafening music even from as far as a few streets away. When I stepped into the hall, the girls were already dancing frantically on the stage much to the delight of the cheering crowd. I didn’t want to lose out… I cheered and took tonnes of photos.

Before long, one uncle couldn’t stand the hotness anymore and braved himself to step forward and tipped the girls some angpow. Chinese New Year mah…
They continued to build up the hot atmosphere with more songs and frantic moves to which I totally enjoyed. More photos were taken of course!

Sweet or not? Absolutely! But, behold… let’s do a zoom in to see her more clearly…

What a shy shy smile! I know you will scold me why I didn’t zoom in on her legs! Hahaha… those are kept in my private collections and not for public viewing.
Anyway, before we knew it, it was time for them to take a break and there came another hottie to perform for the night. Although she looked a little mature but her body was still great. What’s good was that while she was singing she walked around shaking hands with the people.

She was so hospitable that she opted to accept an angpow in this manner! Glad I was fast to capture this precious moment! Haha…
Now, of course the night was not only about hot girls singing. At the other end of the place there were some other activities going on but I wasn’t really paying attention to those. One of them which I managed to stop to take a few pictures was this Chinese idioms quiz.

Notice the Barisan National banners? This hints that the general election is coming!
You will need very good Chinese in order to solve these questions. I know I suck in this sort of thing so… might as well enjoy something else, such as the following video.
The music might not be too clear because I was standing too close to the huge loud speakers. There were two huge speakers about two meters away from me!

Wah!
Seems like a new strategy!
OMG…the things people do for politics! I thot only shows like this pop up during Cheng Beng? Eww…how come it’s an auntie that slipped in the angow? I think that uncle looks more decent LOL
Don’t think it’s a new strategy.
If your husband said he’s going for a party meeting, becareful
samyeap,
Looks like it. But I don’t care anyway, I just enjoy the shows.
KittyCat,
That’s a sporting auntie slipping the angpow to the gal. When she did that, the crowd cheered and applauded. I wished I had some angpow packets in my hand to do the same too… hehe…
hcfoo,
Old strategy but works!
wahseh.. similar strategies for sea park le.. I went there also with friends to have a look and we saw sexy girls dancing and singing at the stage…
some more got goodies for u with angpow one.. but too bad we went there quite late and din get any la.. hahahaa…
Keeyit,
Aiyah… you should have called me to go there. Even if I couldn’t get the angpow, doesn’t matter also because I would most certainly enjoy the show and the opportunity to take photos.
Even they want to mix CNY celebration with elections. ~sigh~
