The other day I showed you one red F1 car, not sure from which F1 team but it’s red in color. Didn’t notice any Ferrari logo on the car and thus some say it might be from another Formula and not F1. This time let me show you the car driven by Jensen Button who competes for Honda Racing F1 team.

Look at the design of the car, especially the colors used. Green and blue… yes you are right, it’s a world map on the babe! Perfectly matches Honda Racing F1 team’s new initiative which you can read more at MyEarthDream.com.

The basic idea is that their F1 cars will race to raise awareness of environmental issues and to pledge people everywhere to make a difference to the world around them. Their F1 cars will carry the minimum badging required, no corporate logos and no advertising. Instead it will be painted with a picture of the mother earth!

Enough with the introduction to this great car, let’s check around what goodies we could find at this exhibition at One Utama center court.

Oh yeah, of course there were F1 babes! How could a F1 team go without them… I had great pleasure meeting and taking their photos. These two were the first two I met and thank god they were pretty sporty and gladly accepted my request to shoot them.

This girl was pretty and she even took the initiative to come and check on the photos I took. Then of course she posed and I happily snapped away.

For those interested in photography, almost all of the portraits I took here are taken with AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D lens. This is Nikon’s least expensive lens selling new at about RM380 but one of the best I would say, simply because no other Nikon lens is sharper than this lens. This 50mm 1.8 lens is prefect for portrait shots and produces great smooth blurred backgrounds which photographers commonly referred to as “bokeh”.

The only downside of this prime lens is it doesn’t zoom and so you have to move forward and back to compose your image. At this price, I have no complaints though.

Anyway, I am new to DSLR photography so I am still an absolute beginner. Will talk about this lens and more on photography in later posts. Let’s see one more funky photo I purposely asked one of the babe to pose for me.

Wow, she looks absolutely gorgeous and beautiful standing like that, right or not? Hahaha… Honda F1 Team, you have my total support this season! Jensen Button and Rubens Barichello, I believe you two can do better this season!

OK, enough of race girls. Let’s take a look at the Honda RA807E engine used in the 2007 Formula One World Championship.

This beast was displayed in a tamper proof glass enclosure. The 2.4 liters, V8-naturally-aspirated engine produces up to over 700 ps at 19,000 rpm.

At the other side of the exhibition, there was a battle going on! Shoppers were taking part in a Formula One race and two participants were seen racing ala PS2 style.

Many busy bodies and the judges themselves were cheering and urging them to drive faster. I didn’t stayed too long to see who won, but I heard the winner gets to take away some grandstand tickets to the race in Sepang today! Wo…. only if I had played a few more racing games in PS2 I would certainly have participated!
