P1 wireless broadband
Apr 16th, 2008 by Neo
I was a little tied up lately, but when I scrolled through the comments in my previous post PC fair 2008 babes, I noticed that I nearly missed a comment from one of the readers. He mentioned about the P1 girls. Guess what, I did capture a few photos of the P1 girl… too bad I only saw one P1 girl and I did some candid shots before she noticed me and smiled at me!

Beautiful or not? Hehe…
For those uninformed, P1 is a wireless broadband service provider in Malaysia, introduced not too long ago. But I guess they are not too well known compared to the other players such as Maxis, Celcom, IZZInet, not to mention Streamyx.

I think so far their coverage only reach some parts of Klang Valley. For the moment, it’s still best to stay with Streamyx, unless you are after mobility, then in that case, can try either Maxis or Celcom broadband. ![]()

so is this company just as good as streamyx?
Sad….Sarawak always left behind. Sob~
Wuching,
That was the first time I heard about them, not sure if they are any better than Streamyx. I guess no.
Willchua,
Sarawak always behind in what area?
hmmm, who uses this service?
Clement,
I don’t know anyone using them because they are fairly new and perhaps not so much promotion being done. Not that they have huge budgets like TM.
Oo.. new one ar.. I din know P1 le..
Yeah~ is new! But will the charges be the lowest? hehe
Keeyit,
Yes, now you know lor.
Anston,
Anyway, P1 is different from Streamyx. I think P1 is more like a hotspot where it’s only available to very limited places in Klang Valley. They can’t even cover the whole Klang Valley, not to mention they will have national coverage soon.
Try to count how many ISP is there in Klang Valley vs Sarawak. I think there are not even Celcom 3G services in Sarikei. Sob.
Willchua,
Sarawak is always slower in these sort of technology stuff. Sad.
I had just subscribed to the Celcom Broadband. The performance is to be judged later. But so far, it is ok.
Jam,
Mind telling us how much do you have to pay to get started on the Celcom broadband? What are the monthly charges and the plan you subscribe to?
Looking forward to the performance “report” from you.
