Haier warehouse sale
May 25th, 2008 by Neo
It was such a wonderful weekend. After lunch, I took a leisure drive around Bandar Puteri, Puchong and I was in for a surprise to see so many cars parked in front of the usually quite Haier office cum warehouse. Curiosity got the better of me and I stopped to investigate. Soon I realized Haier was having a warehouse sale and Sunday would be their last day!

Well, nothing to lose to see what they have to offer, right? How knows I might find some 46 inches LCD TVs at a real bargain?
At the entrance, a big banner welcomed us. Looks like Haier is doing their part by contributing 10% of their total sales to the China Earthquake Relief Fund. Must support this initiative then!

Although Haier is a very popular brand in China, but it isn’t the case in Malaysia. Malaysians still prefer traditional brands such as Panasonic, Toshiba and Samsung, or even Philips when you talk about electrical appliances brands here. Anyway, given this was the last day for the sale, not many products were left when I was there.

But I think their air-conditioner was a pretty good bargain. RM839 for the basic 1 horse power model. Good deal? They made it even better with an infrared electric cooker free! Worry not the aircon will break down, they give you two years warranty. Although this was such an irresistible deal, I think I still have more faith in Panasonic and Hitachi air-conditioners!
Let’s move on to the TV section.

Wow, lots of good offers. Huge LCD TV… 42 inches going for only RM4600. Not big enough? Get the 50 inches plasma TV at only RM3999! Good deal! Remember, 10% will be donated to the China Earthquake Relief Fund.
No, I didn’t make any order from the TV section as well. I prefer Sony Bravia! Hahaha…

Before we left, we had a few scoops of ice cream first. Yummy and delicious… refreshing to the max, and very cheap too. RM1 for 3 scoops! Do you want to have some? ![]()

Nothing to lose? Well if you park your car illegally and get a ticket, you will lose something…
And you took the ‘risk’ to get there but finally didn’t contribute to the Chinese earthquake fund?
Have you donated for the quake victims?
